Where's the Party? DC, Palm Springs, and Miami are the Top 3 Gay Party Destinations This Fall an

Planning your fall getaway? Leave the foliage sightings for your folks, here are the three best places to trade the cool temps for some steamy fun.

Papa Party returns to Washington DC on October 18 for the second annual Superhero Underwear Party. Taking place at Saint Yves (1220 Connecticut Ave NW), the event will feature party founder Eliad Cohen, DJ Alex Acosta, and local gay party producer Q, aka Mother Fantasy, celebrating his birthday.

"I’m excited to see what the guys will come wearing to the Superhero Underwear Party,” says Q.

Papa Party launched in 2011 at Tel Aviv Pride. Its combination of high-energy, progressive music, arranged by world-class DJs, with surprise performances interspersed throughout, made a profound impact on partygoers and the party soon gained a large international following.

For the DC event, Papa Party is joining forces with Q's DC-based La Fantasy Productions. “I see it as a way to get DC on the global party map!” he says.

Two weeks later, all of gay-land will be on the other side of the country for Palm Springs Pride. That's right, the west coast gay mecca celebrates its Pride the first weekend of November and this year, they're promising a weekend packed full of parties, festivals and live music including a performance by dancefloor diva, Kristine W! Joining Kristine will be a bevy of dancers, singers, musicians, activists, and DJs, all celebrating diversity, equality, and solidarity.

It’s three-weeks rest before the next and final fall excursion: South Beach! Everygay who is any gay will be flying to the world’s biggest international gay event, Circuit Miami, taking place Thanksgiving Weekend.

Produced by Luis Morera, Billy Kemp and Hilton Wolman, the gaiety begins Thanksgiving night at Cameo and continues Friday at America’s #1 nightclub, Space, and Saturday and Sunday inside the massive Magic City Studios in the heart of Miami.

The list of weekend talent is incredible, with some of the heaviest hitters from the world’s biggest festivals, flying into Miami, including Abel (Aguilera) Isaac Escalante, Taito Tikaro, Tom Stephan, GSP, Lydia Sanz, Ivan Gomez, Nacho Chapado, Ed Wood, and Rick Braile.

La Leche Beach Party, the weekend’s signature event, will be bigger and more impressive than ever before with a new location on the sand, a top of the line sound and lighting system, an incredible stage with 20+ dancers and music by DJs Phil Romano and Dan Slater.

Rest up while you can. Before you know it, it will be time to plan your winter getaway!
