Beginning November 25th and running through New Years Day, The Town of Bel Air is decking all the halls this holiday season. From thousands of warm white lights, gatherings with family for a special celebratory meal, to checking items off your shopping list, historic Bel Air has something to offer everyone this holiday season. Visitors can stroll through downtown with hot cocoa, enjoy Christmas carols as they pick out the perfect gift or take a horse-drawn carriage ride through town.
The Highland Tractor Parade is in it’s 4th year and grows in popularity every holiday season. On December 2nd, tractor owners in Harford County decorate their equipment and drive down the parade route filled with residents of Harford County viewing the glistening sights.
December 9th marks Havre de Grace’s 51st Annual Candlelight Tour. This tour features 15 stops with homes, artist studios, museums and Graw Alley. There will be decorated homes, music and art on a self-paced tour across the city. The whole town is in festive holiday spirit, and it is a magical night in Havre de Grace. Those looking for that old time Christmas feel would surely love a view of the town that was one vote away from becoming our nation’s capital.
Who needs Times Square and a colorful ball when you have- A Duck! One of Harford County’s most popular winter events is the Havre de Grace Annual Duck Drop. Harford County residents will be ringing in the new year on the water in Historic Havre de Grace as they watch the duck drop, followed by a spectacular midnight fireworks display. This is the perfect event for someone looking to switch things up for New Year’s Eve.
