Winter Snow Fun Holiday Parade & Tree Lighting – Celebrate the holiday season with a parade for the entire family. December 2, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Marquette’s traditional Downtown Marquette Holiday Parade returns to Third Street for an evening of festivities and holiday cheer. Bundle up with friends and family as illuminated floats, tinsel-strewn trucks and colorful carolers transform the historic downtown into a holiday spectacle. The parade will begin at the corner of North Third St. and Fair Ave. and end at the Marquette Commons where Santa Claus and friends will light the city tree to kick off the season.
New Year’s Eve Ball Drop – The tradition of ringing in the New Year in Downtown Marquette returns this year with the annual ball drop celebration. Families and friends will gather at the 100 block of Washington Street at 11:45 p.m. to countdown to midnight and ring in the new year together.
