From attending a University of Tennessee football game to seeing a show at the Bijou Theatre, Knoxville’s fall calendar is filled with fun. Plan for the weekend of October 6-8, and celebrate equality for all people at Knox Pride Fest. The weekend kicks off with a "March for Equality" down Gay Street on Friday, and the celebration continues on Saturday at World's Fair Park with music performances, food vendors, and more! But no need to plan around a specific event: pick a few days for a break to cozy up with a local PSL (K Brew uses real pumpkin!), head to a museum to learn something new, and enjoy the fall harvest bounty with farm-to-table dining.

Artsy-kinda-town? Hello, yes – a new, large-scale public art project is hitting the scene this fall! Knox Walls at Emory Place will be an immersive art destination in the heart of North Knoxville featuring thirteen large-scale, permanent murals by artists from across the country. Over 7,000 square feet of murals will be created by the time the project is completed and open to the public on October 4! “DIVA” was the thematic prompt for the 13 artists, representing someone who commands attention, serves as a source of inspiration, and symbolizes reverence. Come enjoy their interpretations and contemplate the personal divas and go-to icons in your life!
