Fall in Love with Niagara Falls USA

It’s easy to associate Niagara Falls with warm summer sun. But the truth is, there are many must-see attractions open year-round, along with special seasonal experiences that only treat those lucky enough to visit at the right time of year. And with fewer crowds and comfortable temperatures, Niagara Falls USA is the perfect fall getaway.

Take advantage of the natural beauty that surrounds when the trees put on their best and brightest show. The Niagara Gorge becomes ablaze with bright reds, oranges, and yellows—with peak foliage typically around the third week in October. Leaf peepers can hit the trails at Whirlpool State Park, or stroll the Erie Canal Towpath to witness the fall colors. Or for a birds-eye view of the Falls and the foliage, enjoy a helicopter tour with Rainbow Air, Inc.

Discover the region’s stunning countryside and visit one of the many family-owned-and-operated farms for u-pick opportunities, corn mazes, hay rides, and harvest treats. At Becker Farms and Vizcarra Vineyards, enjoy 340-acres of fun at this sixth generation fruit and vegetable farm. Reserve a picnic and soak in the autumn views in the apple orchards or vineyards, or visit the on-site Brew Pub for small bites and flights. The nearby Niagara wineries are open year-round—with almost two dozen to choose from, and each offering a diverse selection of traditional vinifera style, native, late harvest and ice wines, fruit wines, meads, and ciders.
