ARRIVE Phoenix will tempt visitors and locals alike with a gorgeous design and gracious home-grown hospitality when Uptown Phoenix’s first-ever neighborhood hotel opens this September. Scheduled to greet its first guests—who will check in at the colorful Pop Stand, a frozen fruit-pop shop that doubles as the check-in desk—on Labor Day weekend, ARRIVE Phoenix is an all-new, $25M, 79-room boutique hotel spanning two restored mid-century modern towers at Camelback Road and 4th Avenue (400 W. Camelback). Led by ARRIVE Hotels & Restaurants, the Los Angeles-based neighborhood hotel company that recently opened properties in Austin and Memphis, ARRIVE Phoenix was developed alongside two of the Valley’s top adaptive reuse innovators – Venue Projects (The Newton, The Orchard, and Central Market, which houses Spiritual Gangster, Windsor and Churn) and Vintage Partners (Uptown Plaza, Timber Sky, Milltown, Wanderland). As part of ARRIVE’s mission to welcome people to the neighborhood, they’ve partnered with Cartel Coffee Lab on an on-site coffee shop and with Great Minds Drink Alike, the hospitality company known for globally-recognized local favorites Bitter & Twisted Cocktail Parlour and Little Rituals, to create a standout poolside bar and restaurant to anchor the hotel. ARRIVE also collaborated with top local artists and designers such as ModFire, Slabhaus and Urban Plough to put a stylish, uniquely Phoenix twist on this new community gathering place. “Phoenix’s world-class dining and drinking scenes and vibrant arts and design community is what drew us to Uptown in the first place,” says ARRIVE’s Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer, Matt Steinberg. “So we’re proud to have partnered with top local artisans to make ARRIVE Phoenix part of the local, cultural fabric, right down to the rooftop lounge named after a famed former tenant of these very buildings, Don Woods’ Say When.” Designed to feel a little like home, a little like vacation, every ARRIVE Phoenix hotel room boasts king beds with 100% Egyptian cotton linens and a striking and spacious tile shower with imported Tyneham bath products. Additional locally-crafted touches include custom vanities and wardrobes by Urban Plough, concrete sinks by Slabhaus and stylish, mid-century-inspired fireplaces by Modfire in select rooms.
