Outer Cape Tours & Concierge Services Signs Exclusive Package Tour Deal

The new Outer Cape Tours & Concierge Services has signed an exclusive deal with hospitality properties owned by The Lexvest Group in Provincetown and Truro, Mass., to offer first-of-its-kind ‘eco-adventures’ to their guests.

Through May 14, guests staying at The Breakwater Hotel (www.breakwaterhotel.com/) and Cape Colony Inn (www.capecolonyinn.com/) in Provincetown, and Truro Beach Cottages, (www.trurobeachcottages.com/) will receive complimentary off-the-beaten-path day trips led by local scientists, actors, and writers.

The program is organized by longtime Provincetown resident and award-winning journalist Ann Wood, Director of Outer Cape Tours & Concierge Services. The unique tours are not available to the general public.

Wood describes the tour program: “Eco-adventures are the perfect way to get fresh air, exercise, stay safe, learn interesting stories and see the hidden beauty of the Outer Cape up close. Guests will trek through forests, by ponds and along the beach as they hear fascinating stories about the history or ecology of the Outer Cape. The whole family is welcome on most adventures, including leashed dogs.” If hiking isn’t your thing, Wood will direct you to the perfect performance, gallery show, fishing expedition, mountain bike trails and more.

Guests may choose from these free tour choices:

· Outer Cape plants, animals and beach creatures with Dennis Minsky, biologist, educator, naturalist, expert birder and writer

· Cape Cod pirate lairs and lore led by Sam Wood, actor, director and writer

· Cold War Cape Cod led by geographer Brendan Felix

· Dunes, ponds and woodland – oh my! Led by journalist Ann Wood

Cape Colony Inn, just outside Provincetown’s main commercial district, features a heated pool and an amenity-rich experience at a very competitive price. Breakwater Hotel overlooks Cape Cod Bay, Provincetown Harbor, and Long Point Light Station -- an easy walk to the ocean and downtown. The waterfront Truro Beach Cottages -- once treasured by fishermen, now enjoyed by vacationers -- offer an authentic summer escape near Cape beaches, and the sounds of Cape Cod Bay with unequaled tranquility.
