Long Beach, NY- Pride on the Beach- Pride on the Beach takes place in Long Island, birthplace of Harvey Milk, and kicks off New York’s Pride celebrations. The event includes parties, events and cultural activities taking place over 10 days.
During the final three-days more than 30,000 people will flock to Long Beach for 30+ LGBTQ events, including the festival’s annual Pride Parade and the second annual Pet Pride Parade in collaboration with Animal Planet, concerts and parties.
Other events include concerts on the beach, fashion shows, “A Taste of Long Beach” and a Night Party.
LI Pride has grown to be the 2nd largest LGBT Pride celebration in the NY Tri-State Area – 2nd only to NYC Pride.
