Springtime in Salt Lake City

They keep theirs full. From live music to children’s theatre. Festivals to ballet. Hands-on science to fascinating nature. To spread the word about their intriguing destination, Visit Salt Lake (VSL) is offering travel perks of free attraction and brewery passes with its new “West of Conventional” incentive travel campaign. When booking two or more nights in participating Salt Lake lodging properties, local regional and national travelers can select either two (2) free two-day Visit Salt Lake Connect Activities Passes or two (2) free three-day Salt Lake Brewery Passes.



There’s so much to do this spring! From events at The Gateway like Chalk Art Festival, Art Stroll, Goat Yoga and Yoga & Beer to the famous Red Butte Concert Series, DIY Festival, cultural festivals, concerts and amazing events await. Living Traditions Festival returns to Washington Square May 20-22, supporting diverse artistic traditions and perspectives, facilitating conversations around unique qualities of various cultures. Pride is huge in Salt Lake and the Pride Parade is making its triumphant return in 2022. Check out Pride Week, Sunday, May 29 through Sunday June 5. The Utah Arts Festival returns to Library Square in downtown June 26-26.


Be sure to visit the West of Conventional Mural Tour. Ten striking murals by some of Salt Lake’s most renown local artists were commissioned to showcase our modern, fresh, vibrant destination and to celebrate the rich diversity of Salt Lake’s neighborhoods.


Loved by local beer aficionados yet unbeknownst to most first-time visitors, the capital of “Brewtah” is home to a vibrant and ever-growing brewpub scene, one that pairs nicely with the area’s range of cultural attractions, live summer concerts and epic hiking and mountain biking. The Salt Lake Brewery Pass introduces beer lovers and drinkers to the area’s award-winning craft ales, lagers, porters and ciders at 13 of Salt Lake’s top breweries and brewpubs by offering a $5 credit toward the purchase food, beverage or merchandise at each of the participating breweries.
