Elevation Utah 2024 - Feb. 28th - March 3rd
-Queerski is a local program, during Park City’s ski week, and we aren't directly affiliated with the LA based Elevation parties. Rather, we're a group of friends and local organizations who are banding together to add skiing and local expression to the week. We describe ourselves as a fledgling winter pride in the mountains of Utah, working to build community at the intersection of queer and outdoor culture.
-We’re here to ski, so 2024 brings a larger focus to our on mountain track of programming. We’ll move across Park City Mountain, taking over select lodges as the hubs from which we'll explore the whole range. They’ll be our meetup spot for ski groups and clinics, somewhere to take a break, grab a bite, run into new people, and eventually dance into apres.

Celebrate 10 years of Utah's Marriage Equality Act with a free film screening of "Church & State" - Dec. 20th @ 7pm, at Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center
-Church & State is the improbable story of a brash, inexperienced gay activist and a tiny Salt Lake City law firm that joined forces to topple Utah’s gay marriage ban. The film’s ride on the bumpy road to equality in Utah offers a glimpse at the Mormon church’s influence in state politics and the squabbles inside the gay community that nearly derailed a chance to make history.
-Church & State is a story of triumph, setback and a little-known lawsuit that should have failed, but instead paved the way for a U.S. Supreme Court decision that legalized gay unions nationwide.
-The Church & State film screening event includes a post-film discussion hosted by Radiowest's Doug Fabrizio talking with local Utah filmmaker, Holly Tuckett.
