Visit Harford and Ironbirds Baseball Partner Together for “Harford Holidays”

Visit Harford, Inc. and Ironbirds Baseball (High A Affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles) have partnered together to bring a holiday light festival to Aberdeen, Maryland in Harford County.

The three weekend-long celebration will turn much of the baseball field into a dazzling interactive light display for all ages to enjoy.  Visitors of the event will also be able to enjoy a s’mores making station, a vendor village, music and a visit to see Santa Claus.  This collaborative celebration was made possible thanks to a grant from the Maryland Office of Commerce, Tourism Office.

“The IronBirds are thrilled to be hosting Harford Holidays here at Leidos Field at Ripken Stadium” said Aberdeen Ironbirds General Manager, Jack Graham.  “Our partnership with Visit Harford will allow us to entertain local citizens and visitors alike, bringing the magic of the holiday season to a venue people in Aberdeen and Harford County are used to enjoying for events of all kinds!”  “Harford Holidays” is intended to be an annual event with the vision to grow in both the size of the event, as well as the number of visitors to Harford County, Maryland.
